The end of summer....

The last few weeks, there have been several days with that fall feel. Summer is ending, leaves are changing and I can finally put all those capri pants I am sick of wearing in the back of the closet.

We had a great summer and one thing that has been really fun is hiking with the boys. They are finally at an age where we can get out and do those types of things. They have about a 4 mile limit and as long as we keep them watered and fed, they do great.

We even took them up to Mt. Evans, which is 14,000 feet and some change. Notice the death grip Kevin has on Ethan while he is posing here. Ethan is part mountain goat and has to scale any boulder that we pass. Drew is a more reluctant hiker but once we get going, he has a great time too.

I am hoping we can get a few more hikes in before the snow hits the mountains. It is nice to get the kids away from the Svengali like hold that the Wii, DS, and t.v. seem to have over them. It is good family time and there are usually some laughs to be had.

Good now I can blog stalk you from afar.

They are getting so big. They are not supposed to be old enough to hike.

So fun to talk to you last night. True to form it was (1) late and (2) our phone(s) died at least once. Classic.

Okay, if you are going to start a blog, and tell me that you have time on your hands, you had better get on updating this thing with tales of your life more constantly. I am girl who spends a lot of time in front of a computer and need to hear about you and the boys MUCH MORE FREQUENTLY. Don't tease me. . .
