Trying this here newfangled blogging stuff

Hi all! This year Ethan started first grade so I have the entire day to myself. So, in an effort to fill some of that time, I thought I would try making a blog. I will say, I have always found blogs a bit presumptuous. I think it is assuming a lot to think that people are interested in the mundane details of a person's life. So, read or don't read, either way. :)
